Port Gibson’s Jadice Moore and Tyler Doss selected to coach in the MSA All-Star Game
PORT GIBSON, Miss. (VDN) — Jadice Moore and Tyler Doss have both been selected to coach in the Magnolia Sports Association Future Elite Eighth Grade All-Star Game. Moore and Doss are coaches at Port Gibson Middle School.
Moore:
Moore serves as head coach at PGMS, where the Blue Waves are currently 5-1. He is in his sixth season leading the program and will serve as an assistant coach in the All-Star Game.
“It’s a blessing all by itself and it’s always great to be recognized for your talents,” Moore said. “I give all credit to God.”
Moore is a former Port Gibson High School All-American who went on to play at Mississippi State University.
Doss:
Doss is the defensive coordinator at Port Gibson Middle School. He will be working with the linebackers at the upcoming All-Star Game.
“It’s a great privilege as always to represent Port Gibson,” he said.
Doss is a former standout linebacker for Port Gibson High School, where he recorded 152 tackles in his senior season.
Both Moore and Doss have helped lead PGMS to a 5-1 record this year. The Blue Waves will play in the championship game on Thursday.
The All-Star Game is scheduled for Nov. 30 at East Central Community College.
