The Strand Theatre to host busy weekend

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Vicksburg’s The Strand Theatre is set to host a two-night extravaganza this Friday and Saturday.
First up on Friday, Aug. 28 beginning at 7:30 p.m., The Autovues will be live in concert.
The Autovues feature Eric Hamilton, Sweepy Walker, Lee H. Abraham and Daniel Boone with special guest and Bountiful cast member Fred “Bearkiller” Crabtree.
The concert will showcase original songs by Hamilton and Abraham.

Then Saturday, Aug. 29, beginning at 7 p.m. the theatre will screen “Bountiful”- a new western film with the director, writer and star in attendance.
The film is a western about redemption, sacrifice, and doing what is right.
Eric and Sweepy appear as outlaws in Bountiful, a 112-minute western written and directed by Paul Winters, who also stars as retired gunfighter Tash Beckett.
