The City of Vicksburg will support a City-Wide Prayer Gathering next month aimed at bringing the community together through prayer, fellowship and unity.

The gathering will be held Saturday, Sept. 12, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Vicksburg City Hall, 1401 Walnut St.

The event will feature community vendors, fellowship and a Community Choir. Organizers are inviting residents to gather and pray for the city, families and the community.

Ten vendor spots are available, and registration is free. Vendors must provide their own tables, chairs, tents or canopies and other setup materials. Vendors should be set up by 4 p.m. and may include local businesses, churches, ministries, nonprofits and community organizations. Vendors are encouraged to offer products, services, resources or information appropriate for a family-friendly community prayer gathering.

Those interested in becoming a vendor can contact Dominique Jones at 601-443-1285 or dominiquejones01@yahoo.com.

Community members interested in singing in the Community Choir can contact Zaria Neal at Zarianeal17@gmail.com.

The gathering is open to everyone.
