Three Injured in Rollover Accident on Bovina Cut Off
Three people were injured and transported to medical facilities as the result of an UTV accident on Bovina Cut Off.
Just after 6 p.m., Vicksburg Warren 911 received a call of a rollover accident involving a side-by-side UTV. The Warren County Fire Service along with the Sheriff’s Department and medic units from the Vicksburg Fire Department responded to the scene where three people were injured.
A medical helicopter with UMMC AirCare was called to the scene as well and transported one of the victims to UMMC. Another victim was transported by ground ambulance to UMMC. The third patient was transported to an area hospital by a Vicksburg Fire Department ambulance. While their injuries are serious, none of the injuries are believed to be life threatening.
“The accident is under investigation,” said Sheriff Martin Pace. According to the Sheriff, Deputy Sims and Deputy Stubbs are doing the initial investigation to determine who was driving the UTV when it rolled.
