Trunk or treats and fun fall events near Vicksburg
VICKSBURG, MS – It’s finally that time of year. The weather is cooling down, there’s a spirit of change in the air and pumpkin spice is back on the menu. Tis the season for trunk-or-treats, fall fun, and pumpkin patches.
Below are lists of pumpkin patches, trunk or treats, and fun things to do with the family (as well as adult friendly things to do with friends) this October near Vicksburg.
Family fun:
- Solid Rock Church, 4945 Highway 61 North, Harvest festival – October 26 from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.
- City Pavillion – Punkies Halloween Pop-up shop – October 19 from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Food, raffles, trick or treating and a costume contest, music by DJ Country Que.
Vendors booths ($40 each) are still available. Call (601) 529-7666. - Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation – It’s Fall Yall Carnival – October 26 from 6:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.
There will be music, pumpkins, kids games, Tunnel of Terror haunted house and a cash bar.
The tunnel of terror haunted house ends at 9 p.m.
Entry fees: $5 for the carnival only, $15 for the carnival and haunted house. - Funtime Skateland, 931 Highway 80 East, Clinton – Halloween Family Skate Night – October 25 at 6:30 p.m.
- Woodlawn Baptist Church, 2310 Culkin Road – Fall Festival – October 27: 5 p.m. – 7p.m.
- King Solomon Baptist Church, 180 Oak Ridge Road- Fall Festival 5 pm to 8 pm
Trunk or Treats:
- Elevate Church, 3527 Manor Drive – October 27 at 5:30 p.m.
- Highland Baptist Church, 3518 Halls Ferry Rd – October 27 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. No scary costumes.
- The Village of Delta, Village of Delta City Hall – October 26 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Costume contest, pumpkin carving contest, cake walk and best decorated trunk contest.

- Moseley Meadows pumpkin patch, 466 Yandell Road, Canton MS
Includes a corn pit, pig racers, petting zoo, pumpkin picking, bounce houses and more.
Saturdays: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sundays: 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. - Curry Farms pumpkin patch, 584 Robinson Dr, Rayville, LA
Includes corn maze, train ride, fun for kids, corn pit, pumpkin picking and more.
Monday – Wednesday: 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Thursday – Saturday: 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday: 1-6 p.m. - Back 40 Pumpkin Patch, 291 Mary Crapps Rd, Pelahatchie MS
Includes a large corn maze, games and fun for kids, pumpkin picking and more.
Monday: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Thursday – Friday: 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
