Vicksburg High to host Ugly Christmas Sweater Charity Game on Dec. 17

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN)Vicksburg High School will host an Ugly Christmas Sweater charity game on Dec. 17 as the baseball and softball teams face off in a holiday matchup aimed at supporting local families in need.

The event is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Missy Gator Softball Field, where players, students and community members are invited to attend in festive attire. Organizers are encouraging participants to bring a gift or make a donation, with all proceeds going to needy families during the holiday season.

The game is designed to bring the community together while offering a lighthearted competition between the Gators’ baseball and softball programs. Along with the on-field action, the event aims to give families an opportunity to enjoy holiday cheer and create memories with friends old and new.

The fundraiser highlights the spirit of giving in Vicksburg and helps ensure more families have support during Christmas.
