A 6-year-old died over the weekend after being pulled from the Reservoir in Rankin County.

On Saturday, Reservoir Police Chief Trevell Dixon and Reservoir Police responded to a missing juvenile call when 6-year-old Logan Love was discovered in the water. Police immediately went in to retrieve him and performed CPR until medical personnel showed up and transported Love to a hospital. Around 5:30 p.m. that evening, Love died at Merit Health River Oaks.
