PCA earned a 15-0 shutout win over River Oaks Academy

Porter’s Chapel Academy baseball team improved to 11-6 on the year after defeating River Oaks Academy 15-0 on Tuesday.

The Eagles’ district win wasn’t much of a challenge as senior John Wyatt Massey hit his second home run of the season.

“I’ve been working hard on my swing but I finally got another one and it felt good,” Massey said.

PCA scored all 15 of their runs in the second inning, including Massey’s three-run homer. He ended then night with two hits and four RBIs. Brayden hit a double while Gavin White finished with a hit and four RBIs. Gavin Pugh and Thomas Azlin(2 RBIs) each had a hit as well in the win. Evan Gordon brought in two runs.

Chad Fuson threw four strikeouts and only allowed one hit.
