The St. Aloysius Flashettes Dance Team earned a bid to nationals and brought home a Superior Trophy during the Universal Dance Association Camp held last week in New Orleans.

The Flashettes collected several awards throughout the camp, continuing a tradition of success for the program under head coach Chesley Lambiotte.

Among the team’s accomplishments were a Superior Trophy and Nationals Bid, a Drill Down Superior Trophy, All Blue Superior Ribbons, the Spirit Stick Award and Varsity Credentials.

Seven members of the squad were also recognized as UDA All-Americans:

The Flashettes are one of the most successful dance programs in the state, having won 11 MAIS state championships. The team performs regularly at St. Aloysius football games, showcasing its routines during halftime on Friday nights.
