PCA rallies before falling to Tallulah Academy; St. Aloysius drops to Manchester

Porter’s Chapel Academy mounted a comeback after an early deficit but fell to Tallulah Academy 20-10 on Monday.

The Lady Eagles trailed 9-0 before erupting for eight runs in the fourth inning to pull themselves back into the game, but Tallulah Academy answered to secure the victory.

Kaylyn Ray led Tallulah Academy by going 3 for 3 with six RBIs. Hailee Grace Malone, Elle Moberley and Kathleen Ellerbee each collected two hits, while Malone also struck out 10 batters in the circle.

Lauren Rae Davis paced PCA offensively, finishing 2 for 3 with two RBIs. Brooklynn Nicholson, Coley Potter, Raedon Busby and Marley Busby each added a hit. Kiley Poole and Mia Abdo each drove in one run.

In other action, St. Aloysius had a rough night with a 17-0 loss to Manchester Academy on Monday.
