Vicksburg native Kameryn Bailey has committed to continue his basketball career at Paul Quinn College, announcing his decision on social media this week.

The college also welcomed Bailey with an Instagram post praising the newest addition to its program.

“Bailey brings physicality, toughness and a relentless motor on the glass,” the post read. “He takes pride in outworking opponents for every rebound and plans to be a model student-athlete — someone his teammates and peers can follow both on and off the court.”

Bailey spent the past two seasons at Holmes Community College before making his commitment. The 6-foot-8 forward is a graduate of Vicksburg High School, where he played under former head coach Kelvin Carter.

Bailey now heads to Paul Quinn College looking to continue his collegiate career at the four-year level after developing at Holmes Community College.
