Flashes split wins with ACCS

St. Aloysius High School baseball team split wins with Adams County Christian School on Thursday.

In game one, St. Al pulled off a 6-2 win as senior Barrett Shows led at the plate by going 3 for 4. Keller Bradley hit three RBIs and two hits while Carson Smith smashed a two-run home run. Clark Hobson and Damien Reeves also got a hit.

Keller Bradley struck out nine batters and Walt Andrews struck out three.

In game two, St. Al took a 9-6 loss where Hobson went 3 for 3 with one RBI. Smith finished 2 for 4 while Reeves and Evan Mallard both hit a double. Robert Lee, Bradley and Pierson Smith all had one hit.

The Flashes will travel to play Central Hinds on Tuesday.
