Inter-generational Storytelling Workshop Tonight at Catfish Row

VICKSBURG, Miss. — As part of Vicksburg’s 200th Anniversary’s Vicksburg Voices, the Catfish Row Museum will host an Inter-generational Storytelling Workshop this evening, Dec. 10 at 5:30 p.m., offering a creative, hands-on experience.

The workshop will be led by Ashley F.G. Norwood, associate director of digital storytelling at Jackson State University, with special guests Jennifer Baughn, chief architectural historian, and Erica Hensley, journalist.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn to craft personal narratives that reflect their experiences while gaining insights from expert storytellers. The event aims to inspire community engagement and foster a deeper understanding of Vicksburg’s history.

The Inter-generational Storytelling Workshop is free and open to all ages. The Catfish Row Museum is located at 913 Washington St. in downtown Vicksburg.
