Javeion Perkins commits to Detroit Community Christian College

Vicksburg, Miss.-Javeion Perkins, a Vicksburg High School basketball standout, has verbally committed to playing basketball on the next level. Over the weekend, Perkins announced that he will be playing for Detroit Community Christian College.

Perkins is currently a senior playing at VHS under Head Coach Kelvin Carter. On Friday he led the Gators to a win over Callaway where he put up 12 points in the district win.

VDN will catch up with Perkins at his initial signing day.
