Willie Edmond Commits to Southwest Mississippi CC
Vicksburg, Miss.-Vicksburg High School football player Willie Edmond III has committed to playing at Southwest Mississippi Community College. Edmond made the announcement of his decision earlier this week over social media.
Over the last couple of years, Edmond has been one of Vicksburg’s top offensive linemen under Head Coach Christopher Lacey. In the 2024 season, he blocked for a 1,000-yard rusher and 1,000-yard passer while also earning VDN All-County, All-District, and All-State honors.
Edmond will officially sign next week and VDN will catch up with him at his ceremony along with a few other players from Vicksburg High School who will be signing.
