PCA took a loss to Claiborne Academy

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Porter’s Chapel Academy took a 46-14 loss to Claiborne Academy on Friday night. Last night’s loss puts PCA’s record at 1-3 on the season.

Scoring summary:

• Claiborne Academy jumped out to a 16-0 lead in the opening quarter.

• Auston Moore put PCA on the board with a 10-yard touchdown run to make it 16-6.

• Claiborne answered with two more scores to stretch the margin to 22-6 by the end of the first.

• Moore struck again in the second half with a 5-yard run for the Eagles’ only other points.

• Claiborne kept control of the rest of the way and finished off a 46-14 win.

The Eagles will be on the road next Friday to face Riverdale Academy.
