Cade Fairley commits to LSU Shreveport baseball program

Cade Fairley, a Vicksburg native and Warren Central High School graduate, has committed to continue his baseball career at Louisiana State University Shreveport.

Fairley announced his decision Wednesday night on social media.

“Blessed to announce I will be continuing my athletic and academic career at LSU Shreveport,” Fairley wrote. “I would like to thank my family, friends and coaches for getting me to this point. Go Pilots!”

Fairley spent the past two seasons at Hinds Community College, where he earned Team Offensive Player of the Year and Team MVP honors.

During the 2026 season, Fairley recorded 57 hits, 26 RBIs and 47 runs scored while batting .326.

The former Warren Central standout now joins the LSU Shreveport baseball program after a successful junior college career.
