DeChance Thigpen added the 2-point conversion to give the Gators an 8-0 lead.

With the sixth-grade unit on the field, Robert Johnson came up with an interception. A few plays later, Malik Dulaney sprinted for a 70-yard touchdown to extend the lead to 14-0.

Porter’s Middle School answered later in the game with a long touchdown run to cut the deficit to 14-6. PMS threatened again late, but Rush Sudds recorded a sack to seal the win for VJHS.
