Vicksburg Warren School District Thanks Community for Rivalry Week Support
VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The Vicksburg Warren School District is thanking the community for its strong support during “Rivalry Week.”
In a statement released by Director of Athletics and Activities James Lewis, the district praised fans, parents, volunteers, law enforcement and administrators for creating an “electric” atmosphere that celebrated school spirit, teamwork and community pride.
“Your energy and presence made a powerful statement, not only about our commitment to our student-athletes and coaches, but also about the pride we all share in this amazing community,” Lewis said.
He added that ongoing support — whether for new initiatives or long-standing traditions — “fuels our progress” as the district continues to grow and innovate.
Lewis emphasized that while each school has its own history and traditions, the district remains “one school district, united in purpose and rooted in a shared vision for the future.”
