James Lee Doss

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Funeral services for James Lee Doss are to be held on Saturday, October 4, at the Jackson Street Missionary Baptist Church. The service will be at 1 p.m. with the Reverend Tollars Moore officiating. Interment shall follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

James Lee Doss passed away on September 28 following a sudden illness.  He was 69. He had worked for Moss Construction and was a member and deacon of Jackson St. M.B. Church. He was preceded in death by his mother Verlina Doss, his brothers Charles Doss and Eddie Doss.

He is survived by his sons Lamar Lee Doss, Fred Williams, and Chris Williams, all of Vicksburg, his daughter Kay Bracey, of Vicksburg, his brother Edward Doss, of Vicksburg, and his sister, Patricia Doss, of Vicksburg, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and others
