Vickie Lynn Barlow Ogle 1958-2026
Vickie Lynn Barlow Ogle passed away on July 31, 2026, in Vicksburg, MS. A dedicated Rural Mail Carrier and beloved family member, she is survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren. Services are scheduled for August 7.
VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) —
Vickie Lynn Barlow Ogle passed away on July 31, 2026 in her Vicksburg home after an arduous health journey. Vickie was born in Vicksburg, MS on September 9, 1958 to the late James and Catherine Barlow.
A graduate of Warren Central High School, she attended Assembly of God churches since childhood serving as a children’s director later in life. Vickie married the love of her life, Harry M. Ogle, on July 6, 1984. The couple enjoyed traveling with their children, dinners
out together, and long conversations. Vickie proudly served the United States Postal Service for 40 years as a Rural Mail Carrier. She loved her customers; yes, even the dogs. We will miss her laughter filling up a room and her Thanksgiving dressing.
The family would like to thank Merit Health River Region Rehabilitation Services and St. Joseph Hospice for the care they provided in her final moments.
Vickie is survived by her husband, Harry, and their children H. Daniel Ogle and Elizabeth Ogle
(James Gammill). Granddaughter, Lilly Gammill. Sister, Cathy Bender, and brother, Jimmy
Barlow. Nieces Jennifer King (Tommy) and nephews, Jay Barlow (Laura) and Patrick Bender
(Chad). As well as many great nieces, great nephews, family, and friends including her best kitty friends: Jack and Sammie.
Services will be held at 10 AM on Friday Aug 7 at Fisher Riles Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-7 Thursday at the Funeral Home and on Friday 9 AM until hour of service.
