PORT GIBSON, Miss. (VDN) Port Gibson High School snapped a five-game losing streak in emphatic fashion Friday night, shutting out Crystal Springs 46-0 on Senior Night. The Blue Waves improved to 4-5 on the season after putting together one of their most complete performances of the year.

Port Gibson racked up 455 total yards of offense, including 300 yards on the ground and 155 through the air. Quarterback KiMontae Crutison was sharp, completing 7 of 9 passes for 155 yards and two touchdowns. Lenell Snyder powered the rushing attack with seven carries for 100 yards and a touchdown while also adding two two-point conversions.

The Blue Waves spread the scoring around. Joseph Porter opened the game with a 60-yard touchdown run, followed by a safety that put Port Gibson up early. Crutison connected with Antoine Walker on a 50-yard touchdown pass, then hit Raphael Neal for a 40-yard score. Neal also added a 20-yard rushing touchdown, while Snyder broke free for a 40-yard run, and Willie White capped the night with a 55-yard touchdown run.

On defense, Jakyrun Barnes led the charge with 10 tackles and a sack, and LeQuentin Reynolds added eight tackles and an interception.

Port Gibson will look to carry that momentum into the postseason after a dominant Senior Night showing.
