St. Aloysius Junior High dominates Central Hinds 28-0 for third shutout

St. Aloysius Junior High football team achieved a 28-0 victory over Central Hinds, marking their third shutout of the season. Quarterback Graham Cappaert led with two touchdowns as the team remains undefeated and prepares for a district championship.

The St. Aloysius Junior High football team remained undefeated Thursday with a 28-0 victory over Central Hinds.

The Flashes continued their strong season on both sides of the ball, with the defense recording its third shutout of the year.

Quarterback Graham Cappaert led the offense with two touchdowns. Cappaert rushed for one score and connected with Owen Mallard for another touchdown through the air.

Caden Crocker added a rushing touchdown and scored on a 2-point conversion, while John Robert Reeder also converted a 2-point attempt.

The St. Aloysius defense contributed to the scoring as Davis Burroughs intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown.

With their undefeated record still intact, the Flashes will now turn their attention to a district championship.

St. Aloysius will travel to face Tri-County Academy on Thursday at 6 p.m. with the district title on the line.
