Mayfield, Vicksburg police to host town hall meeting on community, crime

VICKSBURG, Miss.(VDN) — Ward I Alderman Thomas “TJ” Mayfield and the Vicksburg Police Department will host a town hall meeting focused on community updates and addressing crime.

The meeting will be held Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Every Occasion Event Center, located at 1201 Walnut St. in Vicksburg.

The town hall meeting is free and open to the public. Community members are invited to attend to learn more about issues affecting the city and to share their opinions and ideas regarding the future of the community.

The event is being hosted by the Office of Ward I Alderman Thomas “TJ” Mayfield in partnership with the Vicksburg Police Department.
