Zion Harvey named to All-MACCC basketball team

VICKSBURG, Miss.(VDN) — Zion Harvey, a Vicksburg native, has been selected to the All-Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference basketball team.

The Holmes Community College standout was announced Tuesday when the school released the list on its social media page.

Harvey helped lead Holmes to a 13-13 record during the 2026 season. She averaged 13.2 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. The freshman opened her collegiate career with a strong performance, scoring 25 points in her debut against Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

Harvey’s first collegiate season followed a successful high school career at Vicksburg High School, where she averaged more than 20 points per game as a senior.
