Joyce Gail Mann 1960-2026

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — 

Joyce Gail Mann passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026. She was 65 years old. She was born in Vicksburg, MS on October 25, 1960, to Venable Moore and Joyce Gravatt.

She was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church until her health started declining. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded by her parents, Venable Moore and Joyce Gravatt; sister, Paula Sharp; brother, Donie Miller; grandsons, Landon Haynes and Michael Blake.

She is survived by her son, Sunny Alexander; daughters, April Johnson (Ray) and Brandy Gurley (Kenny); siblings, Delores Adam (Ron), Veneable Moore, Jr., Keith Gravatt and Kim White (Bobby); brother-in-law, Mike Sharp; grandchildren, Tyla Powers (Taylor), Christopher Johnson, Ashley Lesher (Mark), Zach Kerns (Deanna), Chase Johnson, Kaylae Merritt (JayJay), Gabrielle Sullivan (Joshua) and Zane Hartley; great-grandchildren, Sabryna Merritt, Joseif Merritt, Paisley Merritt, Gracelynn Sullivan, Thomas Sullivan, Kyler Hartley, Kimberly Powers, Tobias Powers, Addisyn Lesher and Zeriah Kerns.

Pallbearers will be Zane Hartley, Zach Kerns, Kenny Gurley, Austin Richardson, Josh Sullivan and Chase Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Shea Walls, Taylor Powers, Reed Gurley and Tucker Gurley.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the hour of service.
