Vicksburg students, educators, parents and community members will gather next month for the 2026 City-Wide Pep Rally as local leaders aim to build excitement and support for the upcoming school year.

The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. July 25 at Vicksburg Mall and is open to students, parents, teachers, coaches, alumni and community supporters.

Organizers said the pep rally will celebrate the start of the 2026-27 academic year while promoting academic excellence, school pride and student achievement.

The event is designed to encourage students as they prepare to return to the classroom and inspire them to set goals and pursue success during the new school year.

Organizers are inviting the community to participate in the celebration and help send students into the school year feeling motivated, encouraged and ready to succeed.

Food vendors interested in participating can register through an online application provided by event organizers.
