VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Alderman TJ Mayfield is pleased to announce that 218 First Avenue has been selected as the Ward 1 Yard of the Month for June in recognition of its landscaping and contribution to the beauty of the neighborhood.
The Yard of the Month program highlights residents who take exceptional pride in maintaining and improving their properties, helping make Ward 1 a more attractive and welcoming place for everyone.
“Congratulations to the residents of 218 1st Avenue on being named Ward 1 Yard of the Month for June,” said Alderman TJ Mayfield. “Their dedication and hard work are evident in the care they have put into their property. Beautiful yards not only improve individual homes but also help create a positive image for our entire community.”
Alderman Mayfield encourages all residents to continue taking pride in their properties and thanks those who contribute to the appearance and quality of life throughout the ward.

The Yard of the Month program recognizes one property each month during the growing season and aims to encourage community beautification and neighborhood engagement.
