Kedric Green has graduated from the police academy and is set to begin his law enforcement career with the Vicksburg Police Department.

The department announced Green’s graduation this week, noting that he successfully completed the training required to serve as a police officer.

Graduating from the academy marks the completion of months of instruction, physical training and preparation designed to equip new officers with the skills needed to serve and protect their communities.

Green will now begin the next phase of his career as a member of the Vicksburg Police Department.

Vicksburg Police Chief Larry Burns, along with the department’s command staff and officers, congratulated Green on the achievement and welcomed him as he begins serving the citizens of Vicksburg.

The department said it looks forward to Green’s future contributions to both the agency and the city.
