VPD to host job fair
The Vicksburg Police Department is hosting a job fair Thursday, Aug. 20, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.
VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The Vicksburg Police Department is hosting a job fair Thursday, Aug. 20, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.
The event will be held at the Vicksburg City Auditorium located at 901 Monroe Street. During the fair, VPD will be looking for both certified and non-certified officers in addition to investigators.
The department encourages individuals to build a future, serve the community and join the team.
All applicants must bring a driver’s license, social security card, birth certificate, official high school transcript or diploma/equivalent, DD-214 (if military) and training certificate if already certified.
A notary will be present to notarize packets if needed.
