All Rise Law Camp taking applications now
VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — What began as a half-day workshop has grown into a week-long summer camp aimed at equipping local youth with knowledge, confidence, and a deeper understanding of the law and civic life. The 2026 All Rise Summer Youth Law Camp will be held June 1-5, 2026, and is open to approximately 25 students from various schools across the region.

The application access will be open until May 22, 2026. This class normally fills up quickly, so applicants are encouraged to apply early. Students who will be entering grades 7-12 in the upcoming school year can participate.
The camp, organized under the leadership of Judge Toni Terrett, offers an immersive experience with daily themes focused on the three branches of government, state and local history, the arts, community service, and even crime scene investigation.
In a statement to the Vicksburg Daily News regarding last year’s camp, Judge Terrett said, “There were no dull moments. Every day was carefully designed to keep students engaged and show them how the law intersects with their daily lives.”
There is no cost for the camp. Students will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached.
