Biscuit Company to close

The Biscuit Company of Vicksburg is closing its doors on April 20, 2024.

The owner of the Biscuit Company, Kay Daniels, told the Vicksburg Daily News, “It’s just time. My grandbabies are growing up and I don’t want to miss it, I’ve missed so much already. The community has been so good to us and that made it such a difficult decision. But in the end, taking care of family and enjoying them is the higher priority.” Daniels goes on to explain, “We have such a great group of people here who have taken care of the community for so long. I’ve kept it open mostly for them and our customers, but it is time.”

In a heartfelt letter to the community and customers, owner Kay Daniels explains the closure.

I am writing to inform you of a significant transition that affects The Biscuit Company of
Vicksburg, LLC. Effective April 20, 2024, I will sadly be closing our doors. It has been a
pleasure serving our dishes to our customers, who became friends and family over the years,
but it is time to say our goodbyes.
I am incredibly grateful for your support, and I want to assure you that this decision was
not taken lightly. Due to multiple determining factors, it has become impossible for me to keep
the business going. I treasure the shared experiences with you and appreciate your patronage
greatly.
I want you to know how much I value everyone as a customer. There has been
exceptional times, and I am thankful for your patience and understanding. We encourage you to
visit us in these last weeks to say our goodbyes.
Once again, thank you for contributing to the memories we’ve made at The Biscuit
Company of Vicksburg, LLC. It has been an honor serving you.
