Cassidy Lynn Walls-Cooke 2000-2026

Born in Vicksburg on March 26, 2000, Cassidy was a lifelong resident and a graduate of Vicksburg High School. She enjoyed her work as a valued team member at Ameristar Casino.

Cassidy will be remembered for her kindness, giving heart, and positive nature. She was devoted

to her family and loved fishing, but above all, she adored her daughters, Amelia and Delilah.

Cassidy is preceded in death by her grandmothers, Janice Griggs-Sturgis and Barbara Hulett; her grandfather, Randall Ray Chapman; and her great grandfathers, Aubrey Griggs and Oscar Ray Chapman.

She is survived by her beautiful daughters, Amelia Lynch and Delilah Cooke; her husband, David “Chase” Cooke; her mother, Misti Chapman; her fathers, Jonathan Chandler and Tony Walls; her brothers, Christian Cobb (Kariann), Zachary Hulett (Elizabeth), Shea Walls (Skyla Hearn), and Matthew Stanley (Bailey Arnold); her sisters, Amber Dennis (James) and Caitlin Hale; her grandparents, George and Mary Ann Walls, and Robert “Bob” Hulett; her great-grandmother, Patsy Griggs; her uncles, Jimmy “Bo” Harrell and Jason Sturgis; her aunts, Kristi Sturgis and Sarah Harrison; her great-uncle, Mike Chapman (Melinda); her great-aunt, Valerie Walker (Jimmy); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in the Chapel of Monsour & Patin Funeral Directors, 1830 Cherry St., Vicksburg. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 12:30 PM until the time of the service.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Shoemake, Scott Nevels, Hassan “Ali”, James “Mikey” Brooks, Shay Boswell, and David Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Smith and Dalton Hynum.
