Coahoma Community College is thrilled to announce Brandon Hailey, Devin Rockette, and De’Anta Sipp as the newest additions to the Tiger Family. The Coahoma Coaching staff, although relatively young in age, has amassed great athletic success.

Brandon Hailey – Coahoma Offensive Coordinator and Quarterback Coach

Brandon Hailey will serve as the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterback Coach. He was a four-year starting quarterback in Independence, MS, before continuing his playing career at Holmes CC and Cincinnati Christian University. He joins Coahoma from Point University in West Point, Georgia, where he contributed to a successful program turnaround. In two seasons at Point, Hailey coached two First Team All-Conference Wide Receivers, two Conference Kick Returners of the Year, and one AP First Team All-American. His coaching experience also includes stints at UAPB, Averett University, Troy University, and Cincinnati Christian University. Hailey attributes his offensive expertise to mentors Richard Russo, Greg Forest, Anthony Jones, Mike Canales, and Don Treadwell.

Devin Rockette – Coahoma Defensive Back Coach

Rockette will serve as the Defensive Back Coach. A native of Oxford, Mississippi, Rockette brings a wealth of experience as a former standout player. He excelled in high school at Oxford High, earning “All American” Honors four times. Rockette continued his athletic career at Northwest Mississippi Community College, followed by the University of South Alabama, where he was also named “All American” from his sophomore through senior year. Drafted by the New York Jets in 2021, he spent time on their practice squad before transitioning to coaching. Now, he’s ready to impart his knowledge and passion for the game at Coahoma.

De’Anta Sipp – Coahoma Running Back Coach

De’Anta Sipp will serve as the Running Back Coach. Sipp graduated with a 3.3 GPA and amassed over 4,500 yards during his college career, becoming the first freshman in his school’s history to rush for 1,000 yards in a single season. He holds multiple rushing records at Kentucky Christian University and was a 2-time team captain. His accolades include 2x All MSC-Bluegrass and Appalachian Division 1st Team RB, All NCCAA 1st and 2nd Team All-American RB, and Offensive Freshman of the Year. After college, Sipp played professionally in the Champions Indoor Football League and the Brazilian Football League, where he ranked third in yards and touchdowns in the Northeast Region in 2023. He is looking to bolster an already dynamic Tiger’s run offense.

Coahoma looks forward to the impact each of these young men will bring to the program for years to come.
