VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The Vicksburg Daily News is reaching out, again, to candidates running for office in the upcoming school board election.
In our original post on October 15, we asked each office hopeful to contact us to set up their interview. We’ve spoken with four of the total seven and interviewed two, with one interview pending. However, we haven’t heard from candidates Dotson, Patterson or Stirgus to set up their interview.
Our format is simple, we ask each person the same questions related to the position they are seeking and video it for the public to see. Before the video starts we inform each candidate the video will not stop until the interview has ended.
Then you, the voting public, will be able to compare the candidates and their answers to the questions so you can make an informed vote.
Candidates Dotson, Patterson, and Stirgus, you can contact us to set up your interview at:

We look forward to providing this opportunity for you to present your platform to the voting public.
