Edwards native Trent Singleton commits to South Alabama

Edwards native and former Mississippi State University football player Trent Singleton has committed to the University of South Alabama.

Singleton, who was a star defensive back and quarterback at Raymond High School, made the announcement on Monday. He helped the Rangers to a 7-4 winning season in 2021.

Singleton spent his the last couple of seasons at MSU, but his new position coach will be Vicksburg native Jay Hopson at South Alabama.
