Faith Kivett, Tallulah Native, transfers to USM

TALLULAH, La. – Tallulah native Faith Kivett has officially transferred to the University of Southern Mississippi to play softball. Kivett most recently played at Southeastern Louisiana where they finished with a 47-15 record in 2024.

The news of Kivett’s transfer became public on Wednesday when USM announced it on social media. Kivett will now be playing under Head Coach Natalie Poole.

Before playing at SE LA, Kivett helped Copiah-Lincoln Community College to a national championship as a sophomore. She had a .438 batting average as a freshman and .342 as a sophomore while bringing in a total of 133 hits at Co-Lin.

Faith Kivett is a graduate of Tallulah Academy where she helped the Lady Trojans to a MAIS State Championship as a freshman.
