Flags ordered at half-staff for Barnes

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Governor Tate Reeves has issued an order in regards to the passing of Chancellor Vicki R. Barnes.
The Governor has directed that all flags of the State of Mississippi be flown at half-staff on all State buildings and grounds in Issaquena, Sharkey and Warren Counties beginning at sunrise and ending at sunset on Monday, Oct. 5, 2026, in honor of Chancellor Vicki R. Barnes.
