Free pap smears and mammograms June 13

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Plan A Mobile Clinic will offer free pap smears and mammograms during a mobile clinic event on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 2. p.m. at the United Way of West Central Mississippi office located at 920 South Street.

No insurance is required for the free breast and cervical cancer screenings.

By removing financial barriers, organizers aim to help more women take proactive steps in detecting cancer early.

The initiative is also part of a broader effort to improve access to early cancer detection services, particularly for those who may be uninsured or underserved. Organizers hope to encourage more women to prioritize preventative health screenings.
