Hinds CC honors Foundation scholarship recipients
VICKSBURG, Miss.(VDN) — The Hinds Community College Foundation recognized 2025-2026 scholarship recipients, donors and other honorees at a reception on Sept. 19 at the Muse Center on the Rankin Campus.
Among those being recognized were Mandie Williams of Ovett, front second from left, who received the Mississippi Jets Aviation Technology Endowed Scholarship; Spencer Carlisle of Hernando, who received the KingAir Nation Foundation Scholarship; Walter Turner Rogers of Meridian, who received the Mississippi Jets Aviation Scholarship; Amilcar Antompietri of Brandon, who received the KingAir Nation Foundation Scholarship; James Gerrish of Hurley, who received the Aviation Maintenance Technology Scholarship; back from left, Marshall Carson of Meridian and Wesley Dellapenna of Pearl, both of whom received the Mississippi Jets Aviation Technology Endowed Scholarship; James Cameron of Brandon and Percy Sneed of Jackson, both of whom received the KingAir Nation Foundation Scholarship; Aaron Harvey of Terry, who received the Mississippi Jets Aviation Technology Endowed Scholarship and Makaio Feria of Madison, who received the Mike Dalton-EAA Chapter 276 Scholarship. The Hinds Community College Foundation will award more than 800 scholarships during the 2025-2026 academic year. The deadline to apply for a scholarship for fall 2025 (academic year 2025-2026), is Feb. 15, 2026. For more information, visit www.hindscc.edu.
