COLUMBUS, Miss. (VDN) — Scott Colom announced a “Mississippi Matters” Soup Kitchen & Food Pantry Tour with stops in Grenada, Columbus, Jackson, Hattiesburg, and along the Gulf Coast to support local organizations feeding families across Mississippi.

“As the Holiday season approaches, too many of our neighbors are struggling to put food on the table even though they’re working hard,” said Colom. “Cindy Hyde-Smith should be working overtime to reopen the government and make sure Mississippi families and kids don’t go hungry. While Washington is not looking out for Mississippi, we are going to look out for another. Mississippi has a long history of stepping up for each other.”

This past Tuesday, Scott visited the Grenada Soup Kitchen in Grenada, MS.
