Lady Flashes run-ruled Manchester Academy 11-0 on Thursday

St. Aloysius quickly run-ruled Manchester Academy on Thursday as they took home an 11-0 win.

The Lady Flashes’ bats got hot in the second inning which began with triples from both Madison and Mallory Spencer. Presley Brister and Madelyn Kavanaugh both hit singles as well to give St. Al the 2-0 lead.

Ruthie Britton started the third inning off with a double. Madison Spencer also smashed a double in the third while Brister nailed a triple to put the Lady Flashes up 6-0. Britton and Madison Spencer hit doubles in the fourth while Megan Theriot contributed an RBI to push the lead to 9-0.

Kyleigh Cooper capped the game off with a two-run single to end things at 11-0. She also struck out two batters in the win.

Madison Spencer went 3 for 3 with two doubles, a triple, and three RBIs. Britton went 3 for 4 with three doubles and two RBIs. Kavanaugh(1 RBI), Brister(1 RBI), and Kennedi Blassingame all had two hits while Theriot, Cooper(2 RBI), and Mallory Spencer(1 RBI) all had one hit.

The Lady Flashes are 4-2 on the season and they will travel to play Central Hinds on Monday.
