Lady Vikes fell short against No. 8 Neshoba Central

Warren Central High School softball team came up short on Wednesday in a 3-2 loss to No. 8 Neshoba Central.
The Lady Rockets earned all three of their runs in the first inning as WC’s defense quickly stepped up and didn’t allow any other runs. The Lady Vikes eventually got on the board in the sixth inning when Jenn smith hit a two-run double.
Despite efforts to steal the game, the Lady Vikes fell short of the win. Sarah Cameron Fancher went 2 for 2 at the plate while Smith finished with one hit and two RBIs. Tyra Bridges and MK Ferguson both had a hit.
The Lady Vikes will wrap up their regular season tonight against Brookhaven.
