Luminary Labyrinth Opens For Prayer March 27th At St. Aloysius Football Field

On Wednesday, March 27, the Luminary Labyrinth will be open for prayer from 8:00 pm until 9:00 pm on the St. Aloysius football field. This is a great way to celebrate the Easter season!

Since the 2010 school year, the senior class said they have been honored to host a luminary service; one of their most important school traditions and one they want to ensure continues.

In 2014, during Theology class with Mrs. Joan Thornton, the seniors were exposed to a Labyrinth-style prayer.

This type of prayer is rooted in Christianity and allows for the participant to experience the presence of God in a very intimate manner.

After experiencing the prayer labyrinth, the students stated, “Let’s do a prayer labyrinth for our community.” The senior classes in years past have worked very hard to design and implement this unique opportunity of prayer for our community and the #Classof2024 wants to continue this legacy of prayer.

If you want to support the students, you can purchase them from the senior students or mail in this form.

Please support the Class of 2024 as they seek to support the entire school community.
