Man Kills his Mother in a Murder/Suicide in Ridgeland

The Ridgeland Police Department is investigating a murder/suicide that took place on Sunday. 

According to multiple reports, law enforcement responded to 782 Orleans Circle where the incident took place. It was determined that 43-year-old William McDowell shot and killed his 76-year-old mother, Vicky McDowell, before killing himself. 

The Ridgeland Police Department is in charge of the case and the motive remains under investigation.
