Margie Steckler is the new owner of Sassafras

Sassafras in Vicksburg now has a new owner that was announced on Tuesday night.

Vicksburg native Margie Steckler will take over the the gift shop that is located in downtown Vicksburg. Former owner Nancy Bullard announced her retirement over social media.

Sassafras is located at 1406 Washington Street.
