Masterson helped PCA to a win over Franklin Academy

Porter’s Chapel Academy basketball teams took down Franklin Academy on Friday night.

Lady Eagles 81-43 win:

Sophie Masterson had a career-high in points as she hit five 3-pointers and finished with 21 points. Marley Bufkin also had a career day with six 3-pointers and 18 points while Jae’la Smith led the Lady Eagles(11-0) with 28 points, 18 rebounds and seven assists. Lauren Madison also contributed well by grabbing 12 rebounds to go with her 14 points.

Boys:

The PCA(11-4) boys won a close 53-49 match where Ty Mack led with 26 points and 10 rebounds. Jase Jung also stepped up and scored 11 points and Taylor LaBarre pitched in eight in the win.

The Eagles will travel to play Prairie View Academy on Saturday at 4 p.m.
