Missing 13-year-old teen found safe, police confirm

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Braxton Love, the 13-year-old Vicksburg teen who had been missing since Monday, has been found safe, according to Deputy Chief Troy Kimble of the Vicksburg Police Department.
The missing Vicksburg 13-year-old had reportedly run away from home in the area of Rifle Range Road near Grey Oaks and USA Pawn.
Love’s mother took to social media on Tuesday to report he was missing. She said he was last seen wearing ripped blue jeans, steel-toe brown boots, and a gray-and-white garment with no shirt. He is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing 125 pounds, with dark blonde hair and a slim build.
At the time, he was believed to be hiding in wooded areas along the railroad tracks between Rifle Range Road and locations including Walmart, Ameristar Hotel, Parkside Playhouse, and Confederate Avenue.
He was last reportedly seen Tuesday afternoon on foot in front of the Chevron gas station across from Burger King on Halls Ferry Road, but was not located at that time.
