Mississippi Mud Monsters to host Youth Baseball Camp July 9–11

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The Mississippi Mud Monsters are inviting young baseball fans to hit the diamond this summer during a three-day youth camp at Trustmark Park.

The camp runs July 9–11 from 9 a.m. to noon and is open to kids ages 6 to 10. Registration is $150 and includes instruction from Mud Monsters players and coaches, lunch from Chick-fil-A, a team cap and t-shirt, and tickets to all three Mud Monsters home games during the camp dates.

This marks the first youth camp hosted by the Mud Monsters, who took over the team slot at Trustmark Park after the Mississippi Braves relocated to Columbus, Georgia, following the 2024 season.

Organizers say the camp will focus on baseball fundamentals and fun, giving young athletes a chance to learn from pros in a big-league environment.
