Child drowns in Tupelo residential pool

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — 

A child drowned in a swimming pool in Tupelo on Sunday.

Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green stated that the incident happened at a private residential pool. The child died a short time later at the hospital.

The child’s name and age have not been released at this time. The coroner’s office is currently investigating the case.
